Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the FruitsWash the fresh strawberries and kiwis thoroughly under running water. Pat them dry with a clean towel. Remove the tops of the strawberries and cut them in half. Peel the kiwis and slice them into thin rounds.
Step 2: Blend the IngredientsIn a blender or food processor, combine the 1 cup strawberries halved , sliced 2 kiwis2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar, and ½ cup water Blend the mixture until you have a smooth and well-combined puree.
Step 3: Fill the Popsicle MoldsCarefully pour the fruit puree into the popsicle molds, filling each mold to the top. Leave a little space at the top to allow for expansion during freezing.
Step 4: Insert the Popsicle SticksGently insert popsicle sticks into each mold, ensuring they are centered and secure in the puree. The sticks should be long enough to serve as handles for easy eating.
Step 5: Freeze the PopsiclesPlace the filled popsicle molds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4 to 6 hours, or until the popsicles are completely firm and set.
Step 6: Unmold and ServeWhen the popsicles are fully frozen, remove the molds from the freezer. To easily unmold the popsicles, run the bottom of the molds under warm water for a few seconds. Gently pull on the popsicle sticks to release the popsicles from the molds.
Serve the Strawberry Kiwi Popsicles immediately, or store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Notes
For a beautiful layered effect, freeze the strawberry puree halfway before adding the kiwi mixture on top and freezing it again.
To prevent the popsicles from melting too quickly in the heat, serve them in the shade or in a cooler with ice.
